Since 1998, Now have been making experimental recordings and improvisations alongside their more pop inspired sounds and songs, using various intrumentation and instrumentalists. These six tracks, selected by OSG and Now's Graham Dunning, are a tiny representation of those recordings.
Tracks 1, 2 & 3 are taken From promo CD-R's that were given out at past concerts.
"Dreamo" & "Skizzy" are rehearsal jams and "The End OF The Show" is a small section From a long improvisation led by the Man From Uranus on his 'Transmission Failure' radio show in Cambridge, on which Now were live-session guests.
NOW was founded in 1998 with the aim to bring together adventurous multi-instrumentalists who are as much in love with analogue synthesizers and electronics as they are with guitars, percussion and traditional instruments to play experimental pop.
NOW could be described as catchy, contemporary, exotic, messy, harmonious and disharmonious 21st century pop.
